Over a 50-year period ACE published at least 662 "ACE Double" books. Here, we make an attempt to catalogue all of these editions with whatever publication information and cover-art that we can find on the internet and put it all in one place for you. In the mid 1970s (About the same time the World started using the "International Standard Book Number") ACE changed their catalogue, from Letter Series to a 5 Number System. In both systems they tried to list their publications in alphabetical order. For the most part this system works but there are some glaring irregularities (We do try to point these out).

Other sites on the internet group the titles by genre and/or other strange categories. On this site we have chosen to forget the separation of any groups and just use the Catalogue Number to organize the titles. An attempt has been made by us to assign a genre to each title, but people will inevitably disagree with that assignment. The titles are grouped by series beginning with the 10 different letter series and then in 10 number blocks, covering Catalogue # 00001 thru # 99999.

I warn you now, some of these pages are very long!  So, unless you know the number, I do hope you like scrolling. ACE published many titles multiple times, if it received a new number from ACE then it is listed again. If you "search" for a title like The Time Traders by Andre Norton, you will get multiple listings with what seems like the same cover-art, but careful examination will show you the difference.

Throughout the Singles Catalogue there are a large number of notes on the Books and Authors that are by Dr. Smith of the University of North Carolina. We use these because he is much better than we tend to be at writing these types of notes. We have edited them to take out most of the personal comments. In said comments he thanks (Bill) or (Bill Taylor) for suppling info.
